KPA list and grumbles

I was looking at the KPA lists last night, and if you use the period selectors, you can never have more than a single LMG in LMG squad. The box set has 2…

So, I looked over my leadpile this morning, attempting to waste nothing, and came up with this:

Then if I don’t wish to waste anything in my lead pile, I can increase it to a 1500 force with:

Veteran M1942 light AT gun 70
Veteran Gaz jeep as tow 25
Veteran ROKS2 Flamethrower team 70
Veteran light mortar team 46
Additional man to accompany Commissar 7

Total additions: 500

Grand total 1498 points

I’ve just started looking at Korea,

I too fancied a KPA force to start with, then use my WWII US troops as proxy for a later Korean force to take them on.

i was looking at the starter deal, and also noticed NO selectors with LMG squads having 2 weapons??

also the starter deal gives you a medium and heavy machine gun teams, again not strictly allowed in the same force?

 

Shame because I’ve now stalled and started to reconsider my purchase?
