So what happens when a brigade commander is killed off (runs away) in hand to hand combat? Who commands the remaining brigades since other brigade commanders cannot command them and the commanding general cannot issue orders to troops.
It seems to happen often enough if you regularly attach your commander to a unit but the rulebook doesn’t provide a solution that I can find.
Thanks!

Alternatively, you can do the same thing, but roll for his attribute, which could end up higher than his predecessor. It is all up to you.
Don’t forget to work out his “characteristics” if you are using the alternative Commander rules.December 23, 2019 at 12:51 am #172922Mike BParticipantThanks, we figured something along those lines would work but wanted to see what other experienced players were doing.
