LMG team?

    Is it possible to make separate LMG team as you can do with MMG/HMG or just inside infantry squad as squad based team weapon? I cannot find clear answer to this from rulebook or US army book. This item made me think that it could be possible to use LMGs this way (2 man LMG team figures): https://www.warlordgames.com/new-bolt-action-us-army-30-cal-lmg-teams/

    Most armies no, only within squads.  The Germans have an entry for a separate LMG team in a couple of Campaign books.

    BA regards both the M1917 and the M1919 as Medium MG. There is no Light MG present in the standard US infantry squad. Both machine guns are available  but come with 3 man crews.  As far as I know the US infantry squad was issued with the BAR rather than the MGs.

    The US had BAR gunners in the squads and separate machine gun teams.
