Our group is getting started in Black Powder Civil War, one of our open questions is can you manhandle a gun and then shoot it in the same turn?

    Thanks, HW

Yes, but it must pass a command order or be in initiative range of an enemy and is limited to one move per turn.

Yes you can. Manhandled Artillery can move a maximum of 6 inches, regardless of how low the command roll is. So, even though you roll and get 3 moves, your manhandled Artillery can only make one move of a total of 6 inches.

The shooting phase is a seperate phase and so, the artillery can fire during that phase.

TBH the move and fire ability of Manhandling guns is the only reason to use it!…. so never on horse artillery

Also any heavy /seige artillery cant be manhandled.
