Recently purchase the Napolenic French Marines of the Guard set and Im after some advice on whats rthe best colour for their lacings on their jackets and helmets. They appear to have a yellow lacings and linings on their helmets and jackets but these appear more or an orange or even gold colour. I havet been able to find any actual examples of these uniforms just paintings and other miniatures. Any ideas?

Collection Raoul / Brunon had an original Tschako, made by Chapelier in Paris, the guards supplier.
The field unifom 1812-15 was more plain. No red cuffs, no elaborate lacings- Tschako with oil skin.
