    I believe merchantmen are automatically inexperienced.
    I as assuming that their cost factors that in. Is that correct or do you need to deduct a further 20%

    Andy,

    You are correct. The base points for merchantmen take both the poor turn radii and Inexperience crew into the point value.

    Thanks I wasn’t sure. Makes sense as they do seem to be quite cheap
