    Hi all, brand new player here. I’ve only just began looking at the rules and army lists and straight away noticed that in the army book (Japanese), in the unit descriptions for mortars, it says HE (d6)etc. what does the d6 refer to?
    I know it will be explained somewhere, but can’t find it and it’s bugging me!

    First edition HE notation – to convert to second edition template sizes you cross reference with the “hits vs targets in buildings” column of the HE chart (described in the para after the HE chart, p70).

    HE(D6) = 2″ template.

    Thank you, Stuart. I’d seen the HE table in the rules, that’s why I couldn’t work out what the entry in the army book was for.
    At least ive got a bit of confidence now that I’m understanding the main rule book!
