A question for anyone that can help. If you moved at full speed in your previous turn then your opponent gets an engine hit result on the crit table. In your next activation are you now treated as combat speed and therefore can reduce speed to slow speed. Or are you treated as full speed still and must reduce speed to combat speed.
I only ask as you can only reduce or increase speed by one each turn
Also, something that just came up, what happens when you have a ship hit the table edge

If a ship ends touching the edge then in some scenarios it is effectively removed from the battle area immediately.
You could, however, say with agreement from your opponent that if a ship ends it’s move with less than a quarter of the ship off the table then it is still in action.January 16, 2019 at 11:07 am #153448RichCMemberIf you were moving at full speed you must slow in your next activation to Combat speed.

I take it that this would be to represent it just drifting to a stop under its own momentum rather than just coming to a dead stop.
