When a major update or addition is made to the Nexus, I’ll post a note here.
As such, it’s not intended for discussion as players can subscribe to the thread and be confident they’ll be notified when something useful goes up to the Nexus.
Right now: Dronescourge PDF Downloads
I’ve just added the Dronescourge PDF download containing corridors and rooms (and the lift for scenario 1) to the Nexus Supplement support page. I think the studio did a great job on these, making them definitely Antares without going overboard. When printed on heavyweight card, they look great!

September 3, 2018 at 12:35 pm #146121Tim BancroftKeymasterMinor updates are continually being applied to the Nexus, notably over new additions to the range or to respond to FAQs, as well as articles on the game or showcases. The more notable changes recently are:
- PDF Army Lists up to V3 to support Dronescourge
- Living FAQ now includes all the answers in the PDF, as well.
- Details on the pick-up tournament ladder for the Warlord Open Day 2018, including the scenarios and 600-PLUS format
- A new selectors for a 600-point Exploration force used in smaller tournaments
Examples of player-written articles include:
- Anti-Tank Tactics by Geordie Irvin
- A series on choosing, building and painting an Isorian force by Zac Beldano
Ideas for articles are always welcome – just send an email to antares@warlordgames.com
May 17, 2019 at 8:47 am #161881Tim BancroftKeymasterWe’re hoping for an auto-notification facility, but until then, the more notable recent additions to the Nexus have been:
- Raiders of Bronvar Campaign Supplement
- Tabletop Warlords video batreps (featured in the newsletter)
- Zac Belado’s army building – this time with Ghar Rebels
- Andrew Martin’s colourful Drifting Lotus Isorians
- A few army lists from the Antares Day 2019
- The fantastic Askar Protector-Warrior Mercenaries

May 17, 2019 at 9:44 am #161888Richard CoatesParticipantIf you want notifications for the Antares Nexus at present, you can get these via an RSS Feed Reader. Although this is somewhat ‘old tech’ now (used mainly by Ghar now), it still does the job. Chrome has an RSS Feed Reader extention that does the job, although there are plenty others. If you add the Antares Nexus feed into the reader – http://www.gatesofantares.com/feed/ – it can notify you automatically when a new article comes out.
May 24, 2019 at 9:22 am #162269Tim BancroftKeymasterWith the release of the new panhuman species heads for the Concord, we’ve an article, a piece of flash fiction by Adam Murton, and a serialised Short Story, also by Adam.

- The Unseen Threat by Adam Murton – flash fiction on the geneered Hantale.
- Part I of ‘Fall from Grace’ – a serialised short story by Adam Murton that epitomises what the Vyess and Gyohn bring to the Concord
- Mentioned elsewhere, but notified here, is an invitation to suggest mercenary units to Antares!
May 29, 2019 at 5:01 pm #162585Tim BancroftKeymasterThe Splintering Shard
At the dawn of the 7th Age, the Isorians and their IMTel led the PanHuman Concord. But they were involved in a bitter, real-space war, one that would have devastating consequences for the nascent Concord and fracture it forever. The birth of the Senatex was bloody, the borders with it’s progeny a source of uncontrollable conflict…
…and shape Antares for a thousand years.
The Splintering Shard: how the Isorians fared in the Tsan Kiri war and how they split from the IMTel they created.

April 5, 2020 at 6:25 pm #176566Tim BancroftKeymasterDuring the COVID hiatus, I’m continuing to publish background material and solo- or play-at-home scenarios, rules and material.
First off, we’ve invited players to write action fiction for Antares in an short (500-1000 words) fiction competition: https://www.gatesofantares.com/fiction-invitation/
And to support that, some useful background on the greatest of all treasures, Gatebuilder Artefacts: https://www.gatesofantares.com/gatebuilder-ruins-artefacts/
We’ve also published a pair of solo scenarios – a Gulper Safari (https://www.gatesofantares.com/scenario-gulper-safari/) and an assault on an nanofactory defended by turretr drones or weapon emplacements (https://www.gatesofantares.com/scenario-gauntlet/)
Mathias Hanisch (Vacui), from Bavaria, Germany loves the universe of Antares and is playing it a lot in his local store. He’s also a musician and decided to make an EP of electronic music inspired by the lore of Antares: https://soundcloud.com/tearsinvoid/sets/inside-the-machine
Lastly, the Freeborn Shard have another episode interviewing the TableTop Warlords: https://anchor.fm/the-freeborn-shard/episodes/2-1-The-TableTop-Warlords-ecdgis
June 7, 2021 at 8:08 pm #185645MrPieCheeParticipantThe recent articles in the warlord newsletters should probably go front and center on the Nexus – they are great reads and a great way to get new players interested!
June 8, 2021 at 4:01 pm #185651Tim BancroftKeymasterThanks, and pleased you enjoyed them. Once a few hiccups have been sorted we’ll get round to putting the relevant info on the Nexus in a downloadable form. 🙂
June 8, 2021 at 4:42 pm #185652MrPieCheeParticipantGreat to hear. As many have said, I’m loving this renewed push in Antares. Even without new model releases, the articles are great to have!
