    Is there a limit of 12 order dice for a 1000-point army? Or is that just a competition rule?

    If there is in fact no limit, then it’s easily possible to get 20+ dice within 1000 points which seems excessive!

    There is no limit. 12 dice is a competition limit so games don’t drag on.
