I have Schnellboot and The Battle of the Narrow Seas as well as the Osprey book on the S-boots. I grew up with US PT boat stories and I see there are a few titles available on those. Is there a reading list that will help with the Japanese, Italian and Soviet forces? Thanks.

There is a lot on Soviet but few books have been translated into English. But some into German.

There are books on Italian Coastal Forces but again mostly in Italian language.

Japanese MTB are not much written about, not even in Japan. There are some articles but difficult to get.

Well, it’s the same with German Forces. Most good books on German Coastal forces are in German. Few English language authors spent time in German archives. So most is Osprey size. Books written from “secondary sources” = just other books.
