I have a PAK 36 to assemble, the Blitzkrieg variant, but I imagine they are all the same.
Trying to figure where the piece that has the gunsight and a couple of hand-cranks goes.
I know roughly the location, and I know that the gunsight should end in line with the sight hole in the shield. But where to attach it is the puzzle. I notice that the lower front has a little pip and there is an indent on the gun, so that is a candidate – but that would mean that it just attaches at the front and the rest is hanging in the air. Is that correct?

One other thing occurs to me though. One of the gunners is holding what looks like a hand-wheel for adjusting the lay of the gun. I wonder whether if you have him on the base you are meant to cut the wheel from the sight/control piece so that it is ‘replaced’ by the one in the gunner’s hand.
What do you think?
