Nice up grade of detail over the older ( 7 -8 years ago ? ) Panzer IV G – H kit . crisper detail on the fender tools , much nicer drive sprocket and idler wheel as well much finer detail on the track . I like the way they split upper hull into crew compartment ( 2 types ) and the solid panel engine deck , it’s a shame they couldn’t have given us the tropical engine deck with the grills for late Ds. Driver & bow gunner hatches come as separate pieces , , nicely detailed on both sides. Turret detail very nice with 2 short 75mm gun styles ( B/C -D ) , great looking commander’s cupola , my only complaint is the turret side doors are molded closed , and unlike on the G -H model , it will be tricky to open them up without butchering some of that beautiful detail .
