I have a question about the listed point values for named characters.
Using Lucius Vorenus for Caesar’s legions as an example his given value is 100 denarii. However a level 3 hero built using the rules with the same equipment loadout is 135 denarii.
Was this intentional or a typo or did I miss something that says he has to pay for his equipment like everyone else?

I believe it’s intentional. Since stats for armour, number of wounds, movement, etc. are all factored in, I assume the cost is as well. Many costs in the book vary from weapon choices to troop choices and I don’t think this is any different.
Lucius has a pretty nice Talent too. -
