Sláine – Cauldron of Blood

The cauldron confuses me. I love the look of the miniature(s), but I’m hesitant to buy it. I don’t really understand the rules.

Do I get to place Cauldron Born units in the beginning of the game? When summoning more from the cauldron it could be up to six. Where can I buy these dudes, there’s only four with the cauldron?

 

I would really appreciate if someone could clarify the idea of the Cauldron.

It is a bit like the wierdstone in that it can maintain spells/boons.
As you note it can also summon reborn warriors, unless the scenario states otherwise I don’t think you can start with any in play.
Regards having more models without buying the cauldron again, maybe use Drune half dead, or regular warriors, or models of undead from another company?

I have come to the conclusion that there is little support if any.
