There are options where the flamethrower is incorporated into an “engineer’s” squad. My question is this. May the flamethrower pick its own target, or must it attack the same target as the rest of the small arms carrying squad members?

twothree conditions are met
i) your squad is a vehicle (pg 105)
ii) its a single use weapon (pg 72)
iii) read post below… missed that one!edit – flamethrowers are NOT a single use weapon, they just have a possibility of running out of ammo..

There is no provision for flamethrowers in a squad to pick a separate target from the rest of the unit (German eintoss flammenwerfers can split fire based on the one shot rule, not because they are flamethrowers).

So jusr put you engineers in a house and wait for the Tiger to come withing 6″ 🙂 🙂
