Richard C is not available at the moment. I’ll try and find answers to the questions but as far as I can see given the instructions (and he may well say something different when he’s back, so I’m being cautious so as not to tread on his toes).

By Warlord+ I refer to Rich’s previous answer about models like Perry plastics also sold by Warlord here, on the webstore.

1) To be safe, all models in a ‘unit’ for the Best Painted Unit entry should be from the Warlord+ ranges. Sure, models can be converted but as the rules say, they should be Warlord+ models.

2) Any Concord models are fine. They’re Warlord. 🙂

3) It’s possible a SOPCom sub-forum might be a good idea to save confusion but until that comes about, post your project logs as a new thread on the:

General Discussion Forum

with the header stating:

<diorama/unit/army> (SOPCom: Best <category entered>)

‘<category entered>’ being ‘Army’, ‘Unit’ or ‘Diorama’ and, of course, ‘<diorama/unit/model>’ being the title or type of unit, army (Afrika Korps, Isorian, Royalist ECW, etc)

For example:
“Concord (SOPCom: Best Army)”
“Ghar Wrecker recovering battlesuit (SOPCom: Best Diorama)”

There are already some threads along these lines. 🙂

Hi Em

It’s not enough as it’s just a reply. You have to start a new thread/discussion topic. Go to the General Discussion forum as stated in the post above and you’ll see a number of threads with ‘SOPCom’ somewhere in the title.

Page down to the bottom of the screen and you’ll see an entry field labelled ‘Topic Title’ followed by another, larger entry box into which you type your text. Underneath that is a box for tags (try “SOPCom” with “Best Diorama”, “Best Paraded Army”, or “Best Unit”.

To add a picture, use the ‘Attachments’ button. Pictures have to be a maximum of 512KB, but a .jpg can be pretty detailed even at that size.

Once that’s done, at the bottom, to the right and above the footer text is a “Submit” button. Click on that and a new thread/topic should be started and you’ll see it in the list of topics under ‘General Discussion’.

It would be nice to see a sub forum for the competition with a complete list of entries so far, in every category. I would suggest locking this out to everybody except admins. We seem to have lots of entries all over the forum with a huge amount of information built up on each thread detailing the build etc.
