Tank Riders and forced dismount?

Okay had a game today and a question came up. If a tank carrying tank riders is fired on the infantry must dismount. So how far do they move before going down?

As per an advance/run move or 1d6″?

I’d take it as a forced dismount, D6″ – it already specifies that they get a down order the same as other forced dismounts, and it’s not voluntary.

Agreeing with Stuart here…

Soviet tank riders (pg 25) are forced to dismounted (D6″ as per standard rules) and given a down order when the tank they are on is targeted by any shooting attack before dice are rolled.
