Hi,
In a post from Warlord video seminars the other week and whilst John and Paul where talking about the the three year development plan. John mentioned the Tex-Mex war.
So I wondered where does this sit in the 3 year plan? Are we talking 2020 or more like 2022?
I am of course assuming that Tex-Mex war would be a supplement covering the Texian War of Independence 1835-1836 ‘Remember the Alamo’.
Given the importance of the overlooked and sidelined Lone Star Navy actions that where pivotal to the success of the war although starting 1835 could this be covered with a further addon to the Black Seas game given the smaller sloops and schooners will be getting some gaming and miniature love from Warlords which was the type of ship comprising the majority of those navies.
Perhaps in the same way as Korea got Mig Alley could we be getting a Lone Star Navy pack detailing the actions in 1835 and 1836 and that carried on the war at sea with Mexico on and off for a few years afterward.
If nothing else perhaps a series of articles in collaboration with Wargames Illustrated would make for a cracking and inspiring read.
