Just finished a Troop of Sherman’s, all plastic kits.
Cocked up te placement of the squadron markings though for Guards Armoured.June 25, 2018 at 9:31 pm #139625BungoParticipantI particularly like the tank on the left with the commander just poking his head up out of the hatch.
What did you use for the mud?

It’s mig weathering powderJune 25, 2018 at 10:06 pm #139634Charge The GunsParticipantVery nice looking troop, Keith.

You see lots of picture of vehicles early post D-Day with shell holes in the stars , nice aiming spot . Stars on rear deck or turret roof would be kept , not exactly cricket having your USAF/ RAF types thinking your Jerry and dropping a bomb on you

July 1, 2018 at 6:14 pm #140163Boyd BeardenParticipantGood looking troop. Nice weathering.
July 5, 2018 at 11:50 am #140511Commander KlankParticipantI’d given the hedge cutter to one of the 75mm Shermans… “You go first”…LOL
July 8, 2018 at 6:58 am #140596RichParticipantOoh very nice, I do love me some Sherman’s, the true ww2 iconic vehicle.
July 8, 2018 at 10:21 am #140600GarethParticipantThe 75 Sherman would go first as a target and hopefully the firefly could then take out the enemy target. The 75’s would also dispense smoke in an attempt to hide the firefly’s tell tale smoke signal as the 17pdr fired. Seems like a really bad role to have but vital.
