I am confused about this.
The only reason it really matters to me is that I would like to know which group of models get the higher (later) number decals on their hulls and which get the lower (earlier) numbers.
That’s me, sitting there with decals, trying to figure out what goes where. 😉
Per Cruel Seas, the Vosper 1 has two torpedo tubes and the Vosper 2 has four torpedo tubes.
Type I (Warlord):

This is a little confusing:

And a Vosper 1 with four tubes:

The Vospers are more usually referred to by length – ie 70ft, 72ft and 73ft and the type 1 & type 2 stuff really refers to the variants on the 73ft. Basically the Warlord “Vosper Type 1” is in fact a 72 foot and the “Type 2” is an early 73 foot which would probably be known as a 73 Foot Type 1
If that makes any sense

I mentiond it before, for example in

So, no harm in having the 4-tube boats with lower hull numbers than the 2-tube boats, right?
Just want to confirm before I dip the decals in water. 😉
February 25, 2019 at 6:38 pm #155796invisible officerParticipantWell, the late war four 18″ tube boats have No 380-395-
Most two 21″ tube Vospers have lower numbers.
The exception are 396 – 411 built in USA to earlier Vosper design
