Warlord event organiser, Jon Russell brings us more details about our inaugural Warlord games Day in the United States…
As you read this there are only eleven more days to the Warlord Mini-Games Day event in Oklahoma City! I thought you might like to see how things are coming along behind the scenes and the current state of affairs concerning this one of a kind event. So far we have people arriving from Texas, Missouri, Indiana, and Colorado. We even have two gents driving from Colorado Springs (Good on you Richard and Ed) just to attend the show! One of them even gave up a Business trip to Hawaii to be with us… We have many things on the burners right now, finalising the guest lists, paint the last remaining figures and build the few terrain boards needed to make this event truly spectacular. The awards for the painting competition are utterly amazing (big thanks to Elliott’s wife Agnes for taking care of these for us, they are awesome). If you truly want to see and experience this event you are just going to have to come and check it out! Our pre-event tour of the 45th Infantry Museum is going to be great. There are still a few tickets left, and they are only $25 till the end of this month, then it is $30 dollars at the door. How do you pay? You can send an email to the address below and find out how to make sure you don’t miss this event! Check out these photos of items in progress or things finished and ready for you to move around on our excellently crafted gaming tables. See you in June and may the dice always roll what you need when you really need it!
