We’re getting quite excited about the release of Beyond the Gates of Antares on the 7th of November. If that Saturday wasn’t exciting enough on its own we are also going to be launching the game in style with a major UK event at the Wayland Games Centre in Hockley, Essex.
There is a whole host of Gates of Antares themed coolness taking place such as participation games, a showcase of the studio miniatures and your chance to rub shoulders (or rather actually speak to) members of the design team.

Of course there’ll be lots of opportunities to grab a demo game for yourself and see what all the fuss is about. As there will be a bunch of like-minded hobbyists along for the day you might even find someone to swap one of the factions out of the Xilos Horizon boxed set so you can expand the faction you prefer – but will it be Ghar or Concord? You decide!
Plenty of space for gaming in the Wayland Gaming Hall for your Bolt Action or Antares Battles!
The launch day itself is completely free, but for those of you who want the VIP treatment, then grab yourself a VIP Pass. As a VIP pass holder you’ll receive a free Gates of Antares miniature and access to a VIP seminar with the studio. This seminar will be all the more special as we’ll have Rick Priestly himself taking part live via a trans-dimensional tunnel (or possibly a 21st Century equivalent). Places are limited so either grab one from the Wayland Games website or get there when the doors open at 10am to secure your VIP ticket before they run out!
