For those of you looking to add more squads to your army you are in luck – you can add a full Italian Airborne Squad now. Liberally armed with Beretta SMGs, carbines and those deadly little red grenades they have plenty of firepower before you take into account the two Breda LMG teams! It’s not hard to see why the Allies gave a lot of respect to the Italian Paratroopers even if they didn’t give such to the Italian army…
A brand new release that you’ve been longing for is this Italian Airborne 81mm Mortar Team, bringing much needed supporting fire to your paratroopers. With more punch than the Brixia mortar it’ll provide your light troops with much needed suppressing fire.
Italian Airborne units w0rked closely with their German allies and as such often had access to their weaponry. The stature of German engineering is famous and many paratroopers wouldn’t think twice about arming themselves with an MG42, Panzerfaust or Kar98K rifle as seen in the convenient pack above!
