Ayu Beat
Ayu Beat, lead singer of the breakout band, “Guilty Beat!” has taken the United Planets by storm. Ayu has smashed every record set by any entertainer in history. Every concert is simulcast to thousands of worlds and adoringly viewed by countless fans. As one of the first of the robotic race known as Chee to gain sentience, the synthetic roadie turned rocker has shattered not only sales records but common perceptions about the newly recognized race. Her mercurial personality and kinetic performances challenge any who would call the chee ‘hollow’. Performing in front of millions is not the only fate for Ayu though. Her cypher, Treble, routinely draws the band to venues where other Relic Knights are sure to be. Guaranteeing a healthy serving of carnage comes with every verse. Sebastian Cross & Rook
A warrior of fierce passion, determination, and faith Sebastian Cross has steadfastly served the paladin Order of the Shattered Sword his entire life. Valuing the preservation of innocent life above all else he has stood as a bulwark against seemingly impossible odds countless times. The manifestation of his cypher Rook gifted him not only with his formidable relic but the enigmatic being also led him to the lost resting place of the founding weapon of his order, The Shattered Sword. Thus girded he has become the living embodiment of the paladins’ sacred promise. His tenacity and success speak for themselves as his order oversees what is now widely considered one of the safest sectors of space. Click here to head over to the Warlord webstore!
Kisa & Scratch
Relic Knights remain a frustrating enigma to the Arcantric Doctrine. The idea that aethyr may be more than mere energy and may, in fact, contain sentience was entirely unprecedented until the cyphers appeared. That the cypher, Scratch, would manifest to a codifier with a nature as capricious as Kisa’s has proven even more frustrating. Recognizing their inability to control their first Relic Knight the Doctrine has sought to study her by assigning her travel companions who are easier to control. Yet every such companion seems to be stricken with uncommonly bad luck often ending up dead through mishap or misfortune. Indeed, the only people who manage to survive are those who are naturally drawn to her and who invariably prove as difficult to control as Kisa herself. Squall
Since abandoning the prestigious Doctrine institution, The Caetermane Academy, Squall has plied her skills across all sectors of Wild Space. None can say what awful deed forced her self-induced exile. In rare unguarded moments she can be found in the ships galley, drowning whatever demons haunt her. It is best to leave her alone with her thoughts, unless you are firmly grounded. In battle, Squall is as temperamental as the elements that she conjures. Great arcs of lightening tear holes in bulkheads, electronics are overloaded and fried from the inside-out and nothing but the charred remains of her enemies are left. Privateers and bounty hunters alike pay top credit for the benefits and destructive power that a fully trained Doctrine mage brings to bear. Squall is currently in the employ of the Star Nebula Corsairs, Calico Kate’s deep treasure vaults accommodating even the most expensive of mercenaries.
