A new Soviet vehicle rumbles in today – the GAZ AA truck is a 4-wheeled alternative to the 6-wheeled AAA lorry. Both serve well to transport troops and materiel to the battlefield, and captured vehicles were used by the Germans too. Soviet Partisan forces would also made good use of these!
Like the later AAA version, the GAZ AA was made by the Gorky Automobile Plant (Gorkovsky Avtomobilny Zavod – GAZ).
And don’t forget our GAZ AAA fuel bowser. Our model is more commonly known as the BZ38U and it carried much needed fuel to the Red Army’s vehicles and aircraft.
