The Sd.Kfz 251-1D (or Sonderkraftfahrzeug 251-1D) was meant to allow Panzergrenadiers to accompany the tanks for which they were named on the battlefield. As often happened with many successful designs during this conflict they were in high demand and German troops often had to do without them and use trucks for transport.
Our model is expertly painted by Neil of Troop of Shewe. Of course, you get the MG42 gunner added for free! This is the first Bolt Action resin vehicle to be hitting your local gaming store and more are on the way. Stay tuned!
