With the dust settling after our acquisition of Bolt Action Miniatures Ltd it’s time for a bit of an update…
Firstly we’re moving all of the miniatures, scenics, vehicles, etc… over to the Warlord Games web store. This means you’ll not only be able to buy everything in one place but you’ll now be able to pay for your Bolt Action Miniatures online with your credit card! With such a huge range of models to move this colossal undertaking is going to take a few days so bear with us. By the time you read this we’ll already be well under way! We still have massive plans for the Bolt Action range but we’re not ready to reveal all just yet – keep your eyes on the Warlord newsletter for more info in the coming weeks…
With a fresh start we’ve taken the opportunity to completely remaster all the moulds for our resin vehicles. Not only does this give a crisper, cleaner casting but it’s also given us the opportunity to check out various resins to use. As a result of this research we’ve changed the colour of the resin from yellow to a more satisfying grey. Despite the models being exactly the same just look at the difference in the looks of the end result!
In our last newsletter we showcased images of our forthcoming US Airborne releases. These will add extra punch to the existing range but we’re not finished there – oh no! Plenty more to come for this range! But what of other ranges? Well, we’re committed to first filling in the gaps in our current ranges before we head of into new theatres/armies. We’re hard at work drawing up huge lists of miniatures and vehicles that need to be made to ‘finish’ (no range is ever truly finished!) off the existing armies. In the meantime we have one or two things already well underway and near to release. Here’s a few work in progress pics to get you salivating:
