Langden Games is Ipswich’s local games store and can be found on the first floor of 10 Tacket Street in Ipswich town centre.
The store was started by friends Matt and Rich, due to a) there not being a local hobby store, and b) it’s every gamers dream to one day have their own store!
We started trading in August 2017 and had our official opening in November. Langden stocks a wide mix of manufactures including Games Workshop, Warlord Games, Mantic Games, Lucid Eye, Knight Models, Steamforged Games, Vallejo, Army Painter, and Warbanner.
In addition to the games side of things we also stock a range of collectables including statues, mugs, and Funko Pops.
We have play space in store and hold a weekly Wargames Wednesday event from 6pm to 10pm, so far this has seen a good number of games of Shadespire, demo sessions of the Walking Dead, a Necromunda Campaign, and at the time of writing were working through the Operation Market Garden Campaign book!
We share the store space with Ivory Goat Games, they are an established supplier of all things related to Magic the Gathering and collectable card games. Langden Games also has a great relationship with the local games club – Weagles we host a number of tournaments with them each year including Bolt Action Singles, Warhammer 40K Doubles, Blood Bowl, and the Batman Miniature Game.
